Our Location
Ocean Nine is a privately owned villa situated on the southwest coast of Antigua in Tamarind Hills, perched on a cliff between the pristine white sands of Ffryers and Darkwood beaches, offering stunning ocean and beach views.
Approximately a 35 minute drive from VC Bird International Airport, our concierge service can arrange fast-tracking on arrival and VIP transfers.
Just a 5-minute drive from Ocean Nine is Jolly Harbour Marina, which boasts an excellent selection of restaurants, bars, supermarket and a shopping center. Additionally, there are 5 restaurants within a 5-minute walk from the villa.
The main town of St. John’s is a 20-minute drive, where you can explore numerous shops and immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of Antigua.

We recently took a vacation to Antigua with two other couples who are close friends. Having visited the island multiple times, we have always enjoyed staying at the Ocean 9 Villa at Tamarind Hills. Although we've tried other accommodations within the same resort, none have matched the exceptional experience at Ocean 9 Villa. This stunning 4-bedroom villa is built into the mountain, providing unobstructed, 180-degree views, even from the bathrooms. The sunsets were breathtaking, and we were lucky enough to catch a few shooting stars at night. The villa features a stunning infinity pool that we all thoroughly enjoyed. While the on-site restaurant was quite expensive and lacked basic food options, we opted for the breakfast package with the villa. The staff came to prepare and serve breakfast, then cleaned up afterward, which was fantastic. We were just a quick cab ride away from Jolly Harbour, where we enjoyed exploring many restaurants and the lively atmosphere. The beach, only a 2-minute walk from the villa, was stunning. During this trip, we discovered that we could book a yacht for a half or full day to tour the island and visit various beaches and floating bars. The one on Prickly Pear Island was like something out of a movie—crazy fun! Having our own private yacht for the day was amazing, complete with a full bar and food prepared by a Michelin-worthy chef from the island. If you're planning a trip to Antigua, I can confidently recommend staying at Ocean 9 Villa. Booking the yacht through the villa offers a discount and is absolutely worth it.

"Ocean 9 is simply awesome! The decor is both elegant and comfortable with lots of space to enjoy time with family and friends. Unlike many rentals, the kitchen is extremely well stocked with quality items which make entertaining and dining in enjoyable. Sitting atop the peak, there is a breathtaking view of the water and tremendous outdoor space to enjoy including a private infinity pool and front row seats to awesome sunsets. The location is also convenient with easy access to the beach and proximate to other excursions. The hosts have gone out of their way to make Ocean 9 a luxury home to share with their guests. We have been back 4 times for a northeast winter respite and hope to be back again!"

Staying at O9 is a dream come true!
Everyday starts with Panoramic views of electric blue ocean as you immerse yourself into an infinity pool of perfect temperature. This beautiful home had everything we needed to have an amazing Thanksgiving! Everything from a potato peeler to top of the line grills and appliances, espresso machine, plenty of lounge areas for guests to enjoy the scenery and a lot of privacy. We would take the stairs down to the beach in the afternoon and eat lunch at one of the many beach restaurants, order Concierge was very accommodating when I called to order a rental carto enjoy the night life in English Harbor .The beds are cozy, the air is salty and there is plenty of English Harbour Rum to go around! What I learned most of all on this trip is to never miss a sunset, don’t skip the jerk chicken and relax! We all have the best memories from this trip and I can’t wait to come back again to Antigua & stay at Ocean 9 Girls trip!!!

We have been fortunate to stay at Ocean 9 in Tamarind Hills numerous times over the past 10 years. Every trip is an incredible experience. The accommodations at Ocean 9 are wonderful. The villa is very tastefully decorated and everything about it is first class. We have seen the resort grow to offer all the amenities that you would expect at a world class resort. The beaches we have access to from Ocean 9 are some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. And still they are not overcrowded, it really is a hidden gem. While in Antigua there are so many things to do. One of our favorite experiences was the zip lining near by. Also trips to Jolly Harbor (right near by) and to St. Johns have made our stays there very enjoyable. We have travelled throughout the Caribbean, and I can honestly say that Antigua is the perfect vacation destination, and Ocean 9 at Tamarind Hills is by far the best place to stay.

Our stay at Ocean 9 villa was truly a dream vacation and did not take long to get there. With enough to do for each of us (me, my husband and 5 year old child), the time passed much too quickly. We relaxed, enjoyed the beach, the views and all the amenities of home in a spacious setting and even got some sight seeing in. The pool at the villa was spectacular and with a perfect view of the turquoise waters and gorgeous sunsets. We ate in as well as enjoyed some meals in nearby restaurants with friendly people all around. A great spot to revisit.
